A nomadic tribe by origin, they used to produce lacquered work on wood. Lacquer used for this art is made of gum and stone powder. After extracting the gum from tree barks, stone colours are mixed with this gum to produce small blocks of coloured lacquer. Then, a hand driven lathe is used to colour wooden objects up to a certain size. This colour is not prone to fading.
